I’ve been in my home for a year now and I’m still dealing with the consequences of this company’s incompetence. Their communication and customer service are shockingly poor, and it’s clear they have no idea how to manage or allocate workmen to fix snagging issues properly. Snagging & Build Quality: Every single window was scratched when I moved in, and the overall finishing quality was extremely poor. The site manager failed to record the issues I raised within 7 days of moving in, and I was ne
Worst move ever!!! Do not buy!!! They promised a fantastic new house and all we have had is problems. Not covered under NHBC rules. You will pay extortionate factor fees and council tax . Both do nothing so do whatever you can not to buy one. Long term not worth it ,believe me. We have been in 4 years and it has cost a fortune.
Been here for 2years and the landscaping still hasn't been carried out, despite going through their internal complaints process. Common areas are a disgrace, Scotia refuse to maintain them despite being responsible until they are handed over to the factor. Neighbours fence has subsided and Scotia refusing to repair. Public steps that were installed are a disgrace, trip hazards everywhere, still waiting on Scotia to repair, been closed for 18 months. Take a drive round the Forfar Development
Absolute shocking after sales customer care. Damage made to property and apparently they don’t care to even acknowledge this and won’t comment on this any further. A year and a half after buying our home we are still having issues and waiting on broken/faulty items to be replaced for more than a year. Poor service all round, DO NOT BUY A SCOTIA HOME!
Their houses are inferior, constant flooding when it rains, promised to renew faulty doors, yet 8 months in still nothing but excuses. Never would I advise anyone to buy a house from them. Customer care is pitiful.
